I think my Wii is so cool.
I love to play Wii sports. I am really good at Tennis especially. I also have the game NHL 2K9. My favourite hockey team on the game is probably the Pittsburgh Penguins or the Canucks. I hope to get the game Mario Kart because I tried it out at a store and I really love it.
Do you have a Wii? What is your favourite game on Wii? Comment back and let me know!

My sister who is two years old was a pumpkin last Halloween. It must have been the funniest costume I have ever seen because whenever I looked at her, I laughed. The costume was bumpy and orange and had a green stem with green leaves. It was very big and bulky, so every time she started to walk on her little feet she was dragging a pumpkin. My sister’s cousin was also going as a pumpkin for Halloween which made watching the both of them even funnier.

Popeye was my fish. He had really big eyes and they looked they were going to pop out of his head. That is why we called him “Popeye”. He swam really funny but still super fast! I would watch him swim for minutes after minutes. But when one of the other fish in the fish tank got sick and died so did all the other fish including poor Popeye. Then since I missed Popeye so much I bought another fish of the same species and called him Popeye Jr. But he just wasn’t the same as Popeye!

- When on defense don’t step in and attack the ball right away be patient and wait for your opponent to make a move and then take the ball.
- Always play your position! Don’t run around the field chasing the ball.
- Drink lots of water before the game. Stay hydrated!
- When you’re on forward don’t be afraid to shoot. You never know if the ball just might go into the net.
- If you are open and someone else has the ball and you are in a good position to receive a pass communicate with the other player and tell him to pass.
- Kick the ball out of bounds if you are in trouble on defense.
- If you have the ball on forward and there is no one to pass to, don’t stop running and then try and get around the defender. Keep up your pace and kick it around him then out run him.

I didn’t go to the game but I obviously watched it on T.V. I was so impressed when the Vancouver Whitecaps beat the Puerto Rico Islanders. I was really happy because the Whitecaps are my favourite team in the USL. It is also awesome that they won because it is their second time to win in only three years.
The game’s first goal was a header scored by the Whitecaps Charles Gbeke. Than the Islanders scored an equalizer also on a header. As Gbeke leaped into the air he scored another header to win the game!
That really proves that knowing how to score with your head will pay off. Do yo know how to score with your head or do you need some tips? Leave a comment and I’d be happy to share what I know.

Did you have a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner? I did. A Greek one in fact. I got to see a lot of relatives I haven’t seen since I was around four! We visited for a while and then it was time to eat. The food was incredible. There was so much selection I could only take a bite size portion of each type of food if I wanted to try every food they had there! After dinner I was stuffed but you guessed it there was still dessert. My grandma (or Yaiyai as they say in Greece) had brought pumpkin pie, ice cream, whip cream and lots more. It was absolutely delicious!

Today we watched a video called the Girl Effect. It made me feel bad for those who don’t even get a chance. Especially the girls, who in some countries aren’t even allowed to get an education. How is it that we can fix that? Simple. Give them a chance. A small loan perhaps. Once one girl is successful she can bring success to all the other girls by proving to people that girls are valuable and can do more than just cook meals for their kids.
Something we could do as a community to help everyone in poverty is create a fundraiser and donate what we can to those who are in need.

5,4,3,2,1….. and the nurses sitting on both sides of me pulled the needles out of me. For a minute I wondered what was going on. Then I realized they had put the needle into me on five and pulled it out of me on one but I didn’t feel it. What I learned today is shots don’t hurt they only hurt a little bit after they come out. So if you ever have to get a shot and you are worried about take it from me and don’t worry about it at all.

Have you ever walked across a super thin log 40 feet in the air? I have!
We were on our way to our first activity of the day. High Ropes. I was close to the last person to have a turn and no one had ever tried to walk across the log. Therefore I thought I shouild be the first one to try it. So I climbed up the cargo net and went onto the 8m long log and attempted walking all the way across it. As I walked across my heart was beating faster than ever. It was exciting. My feet were shaking which made it even harder to get across! Everyone looked like ants as I looked down. Finally, I made it all the way across the log!
