Spring Break To The Max!
I don’t know if I have ever been so lucky before…. I got to go to Disneyland and Mexico all in one trip.
Yuk… I was not having good luck on the flights. I threw up on all of them. Once we got to Los Angeles I was so excited we took a bus straight to our hotel and stayed for the night.
The next morning it was time for DISNEY LAND! I begged to go onto the rides straight away. My favorite kinds of rides were the thrillers (lots of action) but the others were awesome as well. I could not believe the amount of effort put into the rides. Some of my faves were Big Thunder Mountain (a mini coaster), Matterhorn (a mini coaster), and Splash Mountain (a mini coaster with water).
When I woke up the next day I knew it was time for disney land’s neighbour… CALIFORNIA ADVENTURE PARK! We spent the first little while in bugs land for my sister. I went one the Mulholland Madness mini coaster. It was great but it gave me a headache. The fun wasn’t over yet though… me and my dad decided to go on the California Screamin’ (big roller coaster). It was my favorite ride of the whole week, it turned us upside down, went very fast, and had huge drops.
UNIVERSAL STUDIOSwas next! First off we went on the Studio Tour. They showed us all the effects such as: blowing up cars and making them spin out of control, train crash scenes, bridges exploding, towns flooding, and tons of illusions used in movies as well. We went on the Simpson’s ride, it was an illusion that made it seem like we were in a roller coaster.
And finally SEA WORLD. We saw a dolphin show, the dolphins did back flips and jumped really high. We also went to penguin and shark encounters were we got up close to some rare awesome species. Next up was the Shamu show, if anyone doesn’t know who Shamu is I would say he is probably the most famous whale in the world. Obviously, the show was spectacular. Then yet another roller coaster… The Atlantis roller coaster. I got soaked the first drop plunged us into a pool of water, fun never the less anyway.
But the thrilling times had finished we got on the air plane to Cabo San Lucas, MEXICO… and yet another through up
As soon as we checked into our room I already wanted to play at the basketball court and swim in the pool. Well in the end I did both those things about 100 hundred times… no exaggeration there. There were also shows with the dinner buffet at night. People juggled torches, danced and performed magic.
An awesome trip for the books.

Hey Nick, that’s so cool that you got to go to two places in one trip. I’ve been to Cabo last October and recently went to Los Angeles, which I loved. I have never been to the Disney there though, only the one in Florida. That stinks that you got sick on the plane rides though, as if they aren’t bad enough, I’m sure throwing up doesn’t make them much better. Glad you had a good time!
