I am holding a survey to see what the average favourite sport is. I know my favourite sport is soccer. I had a soccer practice on Tuesday. It was really exciting because I scored a goal in the scrimmage. I was really competitive during the drill, and I started yelling. It was really funny though. At the end of the soccer practice I lost my water bottle. But in the end I found it, and it was right in front of me the whole time.

1. When you are on your own and just have a ball with you practice keep-ups. It will help you develop control with the ball.
2. When you are with a partner, practice one on ones, which will help you with your defense and offense.
3. Another good skill to practice with a partner is give and goes (also known as a through pass).
4. If you are in a large group, have a scrimmage game but focus on practicing one thing. For instance if you were practicing crosses make it so that someone can only score a goal by shooting the ball in the net from a cross.
5. Instead of just running numerous laps without a ball take a ball with you and practice dribbling while running.
6. Get in the habit of stretching before every game or practice so you lower your chance of pulling a muscle.

Manchester United’s latest game was played against Everton.

The first half was completely dominated by Manchester. But by the end of the first half Manchester was only up by one goal. In the second half Everton managed to get one goal to score the equalizer. Sadly, Manchester did not win but at least they tied.

Manchester United’s star player Cristiano Ronaldo has been named the FifPro World Soccer Player of the Year. Ronaldo scored 42 goals for Man United last season. He is really just an absolutely phenomenal player.

1. When on defense don’t step in and attack the ball right away be patient and wait for your opponent to make a move and then take the ball. 
2. Always play your position! Don’t run around the field chasing the ball. 
3. Drink lots of water before the game. Stay hydrated!
4. When you’re on forward don’t be afraid to shoot. You never know if the ball just might go into the net.
5. If you are open and someone else has the ball and you are in a good position to receive a pass communicate with the other player and tell him to pass.
6. Kick the ball out of bounds if you are in trouble on defense.
7. If you have the ball on forward and there is no one to pass to, don’t stop running and then try and get around the defender. Keep up your pace and kick it around him then out run him.

I didn’t go to the game but I obviously watched it on T.V. I was so impressed when the Vancouver Whitecaps beat the Puerto Rico Islanders. I was really happy because the Whitecaps are my favourite team in the USL. It is also awesome that they won because it is their second time to win in only three years.

The game’s first goal was a header scored by the Whitecaps Charles Gbeke. Than the Islanders scored an equalizer also on a header. As Gbeke leaped into the air he scored another header to win the game!

My favourite soccer players are Cristiano Ronaldo, Steven Gerrard and Ronaldinho. I also like watching Zenadine Zidane and Roberto Carlos play. I guess you could say i like all the soccer stars. My favourite soccer team is deffinetly Manchester United. I used to like real Madrid when they had all the good players on their team like Beckham, Zidane, Roberto Carlos, Raul and Ronaldo!
